JAMMU/RAJOURI : MY Bharat organised Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh on Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat at Town Hall Rajouri.

A Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh under the “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat” campaign was organised in Rajouri as part of the 100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan, with a strong focus on youth participation, awareness and collective action against substance abuse.

The programme featured a Youth Pledge and Signature Campaign, encouraging young people to take a firm resolve to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a healthier and stronger society.

Vikrant Sharma, National Youth Awardee and State Level Resource Person, MY Bharat, remained as the Chief Guest on the occasion.

In his address, he emphasised the important role of youth in creating a drug-free society and called upon young people to become ambassadors of awareness, responsibility and positive change.

Freelancer Activist Kanav Badyal acted as the Resource Person and sensitised the participants about the social consequences of substance abuse and the need for sustained community-level efforts.

District Youth Officer, MY Bharat, Akhil Arya, briefed the participants about the objectives and activities under the campaign and highlighted the importance of youth clubs, NYVs and volunteers in taking the Nasha Mukt message to the grassroots.

The proceedings were conducted by Shristi Vaid.

Prominent NYVs and Youth Club representatives who participated and shared their views included Vishawpreet Singh, Saleem Talib, Neeraj Sharma, Hiral Dutta, Mehar Hussain, Mintu Bhatt, Adil Khan and Shakeel Choudhary. Their participation reflected the growing involvement of young volunteers in the campaign against drug abuse.

A special attraction of the programme was a Nukkad Natak presented by Parivartan Youth Club, which conveyed the message of the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan through an engaging street performance and highlighted the harmful impact of drug abuse on individuals, families and society.

The programme concluded with a Swachhta Abhiyan, in which volunteers carried out a cleanliness drive from Town Hall Rajouri to Tehsil Office Rajouri, reinforcing the message that a healthy and drug-free society must go hand in hand with clean and responsible communities.

The event reaffirmed the collective commitment of MY Bharat volunteers, NYVs and Youth Clubs towards the vision of a Nasha Mukt Yuva and Viksit Bharat.
